The new KF Aero hangar is built with mass timber utilizing Glulam beams as well as Cross Laminated (CLT) and Dowel Laminated (DLT) Timber technologies.  Approximately 500,000 ft. (150 kms) of locally sourced dimensional lumber was incorporated into this build.  The very unique design also features the largest glass hanger doors produced in N. America, an airfield viewing platform as well as the largest self-supported freestanding circular stair built with CLT.
