Sawchuk: Since 1981 building excellence


  Completed in 1996, the Kelowna Art Gallery is one of the more significant civic buildings in Kelowna and an architectural landmark.

The building structure is concrete and steel. Aluminum and glass curtain walls including wing-like attachments are combined to create a simple but elegant exterior.

Interior features include custom doors and millwork, and unique lighting.

The mechanical systems were designed to provide a very controlled atmosphere necessary for the storage and display of artworks.
