Sawchuk: Since 1981 building excellence

Completed in 2004, this assisted living complex was an addition to and renovation of an existing facility.

Comprised of two phases, the addition was constructed while residents remained in the existing building. Once completed they were moved into the new section and renovations to the existing building were carried out.

Starting with conceptual architectural drawings, we worked closely with the client to develop design/build mechanical and electrical components of the building. Once the clients' operational and financial requirements were met, we wrapped the whole package into a fixed price contract.

The final project is over 50,000 square feet including 25 Independent Living Suites, 50 Care Rooms, Common and Administration Areas as well as a Commercial Kitchen.

This project was completed in tandem with its sister building, Pioneer Square in Armstrong, B.C.
